WordPress VPS Hosting, Pre-Installed

A pre-installed WordPress VPS lets you run WordPress on your own server without setting it up yourself. After you order, WordPress installs itself on your server, and the site address, admin address and password appear in your panel. Unlike shared hosting, the server is yours: you have root access, and you decide the PHP settings, caching and plugins.

How big is your site?

Total$4.01/mo

Prices include VAT.

Scale RAM and CPU up or down whenever you like. Disk can only grow, so start small.

What's installed on your WordPress server?

  • WordPress 7, with the admin area in Turkish at first; change it under Settings > General
  • MariaDB 11 database
  • HTTPS through Caddy: the site opens on an sslip.io address based on your IP, so a domain is optional
  • WP-CLI command-line tool
  • PHP settings: 256 MB memory limit, 64 MB uploads
  • Firewall with only ports 22, 80 and 443 open

What size do you need for WordPress?

WordPress's official requirements don't give a RAM figure. As a rule of thumb, 2 GB is a good start for a small site. If you use a page builder, a membership system or lots of plugins, look at 4 GB. Your plugins and traffic decide what you really need. If it isn't enough, you can grow RAM, CPU and disk separately from your panel, and your data and IP address stay the same.

UseSizePriceChoose
New site 2 GB RAM · 1 vCore · 40 GB NVMe $4.01/mo
Growing site 4 GB RAM · 2 vCore · 60 GB NVMe $6.89/mo

Who is it for?

  • Anyone building a blog, company site, portfolio or content site
  • Sites that have outgrown the PHP settings or plugin limits of shared hosting
  • People who want root access without spending time on server setup
  • Sites with visitors in Turkey that should run on a server in Istanbul

What happens after you order?

  1. Set the size and complete your payment.
  2. Your server starts and WordPress installs itself. This took about 4 to 5 minutes in our real-server tests.
  3. In your panel, open your server from My servers. The Overview tab shows the site address, admin address, username and password.
  4. Log in at the admin address, change your password and enter your email address under Settings.
  5. Connect your own domain if you like, or carry on with the sslip.io address.

With every server

  • Daily backups included in the price
  • Unlimited traffic
  • Full root access
  • Scale RAM and CPU up or down later, and grow the disk
  • Location: Istanbul · IST-1.

Good to know

  • Keeping WordPress, themes and plugins up to date is your responsibility.
  • The install doesn't set up outgoing email. If your site sends email, add an SMTP plugin.
  • If a certificate can't be issued, the site opens over http on your IP address.
  • The panel keeps showing the install password. If you change it, keep the new one safe yourself.
  • A single upload can be up to 64 MB. You can raise this limit in the PHP settings on the server.

WordPress questions and answers

How much RAM does WordPress need?

WordPress has no official RAM figure. As a rule of thumb, 2 GB is a good start for a small site, and 4 GB for a site with a page builder or lots of plugins. If it isn't enough, you scale up from your panel.

Can I move my existing WordPress site?

Yes. Create a package with a migration plugin on the old site and upload it to the new WordPress. If the package is larger than 64 MB, put the file on the server over SFTP.

Can I connect my own domain?

Yes. Point your domain's A record at your server's IP address, then add the new address to the HTTPS settings. The domain article in our knowledge base has the steps.

Can I install any plugin or theme?

Yes. The install sets no limit on plugins or themes. Add what you want from the WordPress admin area, and scale the server up from your panel if it needs more resources.

Do I get root access?

Yes, root access is always yours. You can run WordPress from your browser, or connect over SSH and change whatever you want on the server.

How do backups work?

Your server is backed up every night, the last 7 days are kept, and this is included in the price. You can recover a single file or restore the whole server from your panel.
